Privacy Policy
How information is used when you create content with GhostWriter AI.
Account and content information
GhostWriter processes your account details, profile and business context, writing preferences, templates, drafts, uploaded reference materials, feedback, and scheduled posts to provide the features you use. Submit only information you have permission to share.
AI processing
When you request generation, refinement, transcription, or analysis, relevant prompts and reference material may be sent to the AI services used by that feature, including Google Gemini. Business context and writing templates may be included to personalize an output.
Connected services
If you connect LinkedIn, the application stores connection information and access tokens needed to check the connection and publish content you request. Payment providers process payment details. Hosting, database, email, scraping, and scheduling providers support the corresponding product features.
Usage information
Analytics services, including PostHog and Vercel Analytics, may process device, page-view, and usage information. Session cookies and browser storage support sign-in and product operation. See the Cookies Policy for browser controls.
Purpose and disclosure
Information is used to operate the product, provide support, manage billing and credits, and understand product usage. Valnee’s published privacy policy explains its wider practices for service providers, required disclosures, and business transfers.
Retention and requests
Valnee’s policy describes retention for service delivery, legal obligations, disputes, and agreements. Contact support to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your information. Removing a draft does not remove content already published on LinkedIn; manage that content on LinkedIn too.
Security and third parties
Protect your login details and review what you upload. Connected providers have their own privacy practices, and electronic transmission cannot be guaranteed completely secure. Contact support to report suspected unauthorized access.
